In 2021 we established MAS Community CIC, a not-for-profit organisation committed to social impact. Our mission is to enhance physical and mental wellbeing, provide educational and employment opportunities, support vulnerable groups, and tackle social issues like isolation and antisocial behaviour through sport, education, and community connection. We have already delivered significant programmes of work that include the Holiday and Activity and Food Programme (HAF) supporting families in receipt of free school meals with Football & Nutrition-based activities in the school holidays. We have worked with Nottinghamshire Police and Notts Youth Service on a targeted football-based intervention to engage at-risk teens from engaging in anti-social behaviour in Gedling Borough. Our ambition with MAS Community CIC is to manage a 3G football facility and Community Hub on Lambley Lane Gedling, this will aim to deliver a range of services for the local community.
